Founded in 2010 by multi-national Octavio Martinez, Hot Paws exemplifies the best in grooming practices, boarding, daycare services, behavioral training and transportation of your beloved four-footed family member. At Hot Paws we try to replicate your home environment within out walls. Our staff is professionally trained in grooming and caring for cats, dogs, pigs, birds and hamsters.

When Octavio and his father came to Amelia Island they quickly realized the need for a family style boarding and grooming facility. As an international exhibitor of champion Miniature Schnauzers, Mr. Martinez encouraged his son to establish a quality facility based on the concept of family. Every beloved pet is considered a member of the family. Hot Paws is an extension of your family. The warmth that flows from the staff is genuine; they have pets as well. I have never had a bad experience thru 3 generations of pups. My 2 dogs get excited when we're driving the doggie-limo and sing, "Going off to Hot Paws! Cuz we need a bath." They know what they are getting a hot tub soak, an all over body massage, shampoo,cut & blowout. A Mani-pedi too. Hot Paws personel are so patient, gentle &  An accommodating to all their guests. Our dogs are treated like family at Hot Paws❤️ The staff is loving and sweet and very knowledgeable. The owner and manager are two of the very best! We never have to worry about Tater and Moose when they are in their care, whether it is for daycare, extended stays or grooming we know they will get the best of attention and care. We are truly grateful to have them here on Amelia Island.

Our dog Misha stayed here for 3 days and it was such a good experience! Everyone was so nice from the time I booked it until we picked her up! I loved the daily personalized report cards and pictures and seeing her playing outside with the other dogs. We even got a bag at pick up with a certificate, sunglasses, and a frisbee! Thank you for taking good care of our pup! We will certainly be back!
